D3 is now two weeks old. And she hasn't died.
It's true, DH and I have made it through the first night home from the hospital, her first bath, her first doctor's appointment and now, her first road trip.
Earlier this week, we decided to drive out to see my parents at "the estate". My brother, his wife and their two kids were coming for a visit, and my brother who just graduated from Boise State is moving back this week. It's been fun because the only one missing is my brother who is still on a mission for our church.
All in all, it's been a great trip. I was able to see a few sites in the area and mostly just rest and recover more from surgery. We go back to the read world on Monday, and hopefully I'll be recovered enough to finally start putting my house back together. There are few things as discouraging as living in a partially unpacked house.
And now for the pictures. Because why does anyone read this blog except to see pictures?

She's a doll Rach! Congratulations!
Of course she's not dead! Lol I remember those days I slept with one eye open thinking the air was going to kill or something ridiculous. She is BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to meet her she's so cute... gosh seriously too cute. I hope you had fun at the "estate"! Can't wait to catch up!
She looks wonderful and I sure beyond sure that you are doing a great job. I am glad everything is going well.
What a cutie! I'm sure you'll be a great mom!
OH Rae, she is so beautiful... and try to sleep, sweetie. Jackson is 6 months and I still check to make sure he is breathing... but by now exhaustion is my way of life! Great job!!!
