I took Baby Girl to the dr. today for her 4 month well check.
She's doing fine by the way, a little skinny, but we have a plan to remedy that. On our way home, we were hit by another car. No one one hurt (except for the subaru), but it was not a fun experience. It happened not 100yds. from my place, and the guy that hit me, lives down the street.
To make it worse, this guy's dad comes out and it yelling at his son like you wouldn't believe. Turns out his son had his license taken from the lagrange police and he was driving his dad's rental car.
?What?
Yeah - I wonder at peolpe sometimes. So his dad is trying to be all nice to me and get me to agree to let him fix my car without involving any insurance companies or police officers. To which I say, no dice.

I'm glad you guys are okay. The car, not so much. We had an accident like that the day before we got engaged and I'm sorry to say that even though it got fixed, it has never quite been the same.
Smart girl to say no dice to his offer.. you never know what will happen in that situation! I'm glad someone in this situation had a sound head on their shoulders. I hope you and baby girl and doing okay!

As far as accidents go this doesn't look too bad. Bumpers are meant to be replaced!! the important thing is that you guys are fine. You and baby girl are totally irreplaceable!
Yikes! Don't you hate that conversation? "Please, let me just give you cash after you get an estimate, let's not call the cops, or do the right thing, I'll just take care of it..." And then you have to be like, "No, sorry, I don't trust people who drive with suspended lisences, or who don't look where there going, and what was your name again?" I always feel like a jerk, but I'd feel more like a jerk trusting the wrong person!
I am glad that you guys are okay. It is so scary to get in an accident but even more scary when you have your kids with you. What a jerk that kid was who hit you!
4 months already? Geesh! It seems like you just popped that little girl out. I hope the plans to fatten her up go well :) She looks perfect right now...I wouldn't have guessed that she was on the skinny side.
